My name is Jennifer Kruidenier and I teach ballet at Columbia Ballet School. Originally from Baton Rouge, La, I started dancing at Powell Moise School of Dance when I was 5 years old and began teaching ballet, tap and jazz classes there when I was 15. I took a break from teaching when I moved to Boone, NC to attend Appalachian State University. Although I got my degree in Speech Language Pathology I never stopped taking ballet classes in my free time.

After starting a family in Boone I began my career in teaching preschool dance classes. My husband's job moved us to Indianapolis where I began my own successful preschool dance program teaching ballet, tap, jazz and mommy and me classes. In 2006 another job moved us back south to Columbia. I have been teaching ballet with CBS for the past 2 years.
